Or, what about “If only women ran the world we’d be in a much better place right now”? Join us in a dialogue with CNL member, Nancy Henjum, who is a two-term City Council woman in Colorado Springs (pop. 500k). Find out what motivated her to run (after having said never for years), what it was like to gain support for her campaign, and the joys and challenges of serving her community while staying true to her values during this challenging political climate. Bring your questions and curiosity because you may leave with a new sense of empowerment to make the world a better place – one woman at a time!

The Conversations with Courageous Women interview series features a live zoom conversation with a CNL member who stepped off the ‘typical” path to follow her vision. Hosted by Beverly Winterscheid with lots of Q&A from participants, we’ll explore the leadership qualities of proactivity, resilience and courage that were required by each woman, as well as practical considerations for those that are contemplating or are on similar journeys. All sessions will have a 15 minute social session before starting at 9am PT, 10am MT, 11am CT, 12 ET and running for 75 minutes.
