Groundwork
Discover nature as a companion for personal and professional changes
October 8 – December 3, 2025
Six virtual gatherings with individual practices in between
As modern life often urges us into a frenzied pace, wisdom waits in the stillness. Groundwork is an invitation to pause and reconnect with a powerful sense of inner knowing.
If you are:
- Feeling disconnected and ungrounded
- Longing for a change in your life
- Looking for direction, inner knowing and wisdom
- Ready to change the world by starting with yourself
- Yearning for a connection with like-minded women
Step away from your usual duties and gift yourself time…time to reflect on your path and your deeper aspirations. During this pause, we will introduce you to nature-base practices to root and to support your journey.
Groundwork is an opportunity to:
- awaken your senses, enliven your spirit, and restore your sense of wholeness through intentional nature-based practices and mindfulness,
- discover nature-inspired strategies that will empower you to lead effectively in all aspects of your life, whether in your career, personal relationships, or community,
- create an intention statement that serves as a “north star” in your personal and professional development.
The sessions will include a mix of deep dives into nature-based practices that the guides have found to be the most healing and enlivening, and a community conversation to deepen personal insights. In your free time between sessions you’ll practice these out in natural locations near your home.
Join other like-minded women in Council for support and wisdom to reflect, revive and begin anew.

At the heart of my work is a passion for deeply listening to where people are, where they want to go, and what’s standing in their way. My connection to nature came later in life. Feeling trapped in a lifestyle that no longer served me, I took to the trails and let the wisdom of animals, plants, rain, and sun remind me how to stay flexible and thrive. I believe we find the loudest answers to our deepest questions when we immerse ourselves in the natural world. We supercharge those questions and answers when we get vulnerable with a community of like-minded humans that show up as mirrors and soft places to land when the going gets tough. I can’t wait to show up with you.

I have always had a deep love for and connection with nature. Growing up in the rural countryside of Bavaria, Germany, I spent my childhood outside, and up until now the forest is my favourite place to be. But I discovered the healing abilities of nature only when I was at the edge of a burnout more than 10 years ago. It was the natural world, the trees, plants, and animals, that helped me to recover. With a degree in social pedagogy and a career in Human Resources and Marketing I then changed my life and became a certified nature coach. Today I show teams and leaders how ‘forest bathing’ prevents burnout and what trees teach us about leadership. I see my purpose in accompanying humans and organizations on their journey of change and development with the help of nature’s wisdom.
